    Patrícia: Well, I went to the shopping mall with my boyfriend. We bought some CDs and then we went to the movies. After that, we ate hamburgers and drank cokes. How about you? What did you do?

    Laura: Well, Eric and I went to a great show. The band sang all our favorite songs and we danced a lot. I got home really late and my dad argued with me.

    Patrícia: What did you do on Sunday?

    Laura: Well, I was very tired so I slept until late. When I woke up, I had a big breakfast and I studied all afternoon. What about you?

    Patrícia: Well, I got up early and made breakfast. It was my mom’s birthday. We all went out to lunch. After we came home, I read * all afternoon. You know, that really good book I told you about!
