The truth is that the operation of the internet is not as simple and easy as connecting to it. At the same time that you are connected, billions of other people are also connected to billions of other things. And this all happens on the basis of the agreement, which is how it works on the internet: everyone needs to agree to follow the same rules. For years, Brazil has been part of this worldwide network of computer networks, which, not total, connects almost 40 million people in the country.

When you connect two computers, you have a network (network). If a friend of yours connects two more computers, he creates another network (network). If you agree to work under the same rules, you can connect to the networks. Two connected networks represent an internetwork, or internet. The rules are called the internet protocol. And, entering into agreements, several networks are formed, until the entire planet is connected. The internet is therefore a network of shared networks.

Access to the Internet externally occurs when your local network connects to another larger network, in no case, or your Internet provider, using TCP / IP technology, a communication mode based on IP (Internet Protocol) address. This IP is the address of each of the points in a network, and each network point consists of a computer that, in turn, interconnects other computers, forming or calling "web of networks".
